Description: Dragon Fruit ‘Frankies Red’The fruit is similar in shape and size compared to a Yellow Dragon fruit. When the fruit emerges, it turns from green to yellow, then orange. When ready to eat, the color of the flesh is red with white highlights in the center of the fruit. The fruit also has a beautiful sweetness with an average brix rating of 21. Thorns form on the fruit’s base; however, when ready for harvest, they brush off very quickly before picking.
